1994 Kentucky vs. LSU
It was a tale of two halves. In the first half Kentucky played about as poorly as it could play with UK starters scoring only 9 points. Looking at a 31-point hole it would have been easy for Kentucky to pack it in, but instead they put together one of the greatest comebacks in college basketball history. This DVD contains the complete 1994 Kentucky vs. LSU game with coverage from NBC Sports, without commercial interruption, presented in fullscreen digital video. Chapter points on the DVD’s main menu allow viewers to jump directly to the action half by half.

Kentucky Wildcats Football 2006 Season in Review

What started as an interesting sports story has turned into a fascinating documentary on legendary University of Kentucky basketball coach Adolph Rupp. Dick Gabriel of WKYT-TV ( Lexington , KY ) and the Big Blue Sports Network has produced the definitive modern-era report on the myths and facts behind Coach Rupp’s racist reputation.
Gabriel’s documentary is a straight-on look at the accusations made against Rupp over the years supported by interesting, insightful interviews with many former players, coaches and friends of coach Rupp such as C. M. Newton, Larry Conley, former Rupp assistant coach Neil Reed and Jim Tucker, an African-American from Paris, Kentucky for whom coach Rupp helped arrange a scholarship to Duquesne University in the 1950’s.
Adolph Rupp: Myth, Legend and Fact may change some people’s view of coach and at the very least provide documented fact behind the perhaps fictional racist image of one of the country’s greatest collegiate coaches.

2008 NCAA Championship Kansas vs. Memphis

1958 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship - Kentucky vs. Seattle
Twenty years after Danny and the Miracles captured the 1988 NCAA Championship, the 2008 Kansas Jayhawks -- in one of the greatest championship game comebacks of all time -- grabbed the third title in school history by defeating the Memphis Tigers 75-68 in overtime. Down nine points with 2:12 left in the game, Kansas decided to gamble and put the Tigers on the foul line. Memphis missed four out of five free throws in that span, which would have put the championship out of the Jayhawks reach. The strategy paid off, allowing Mario Chalmers, the tournament's Most Outstanding Player, to make what Kansas coach Bill Self called "probably the biggest shot ever made in Kansas history."
With 10.8 seconds remaining in the game, trailing by three points and with no time outs remaining, the Jayhawks quickly ran down the floor. Sherron Collins handed the ball off to Chalmers at the top of the 3-point line, who drained the heavily defended shot with 2.1 seconds remaining to tie the game at 63, forcing overtime. During the overtime period, the Kansas momentum proved too much for Memphis , and the Jayhawks cruised to the national championship.
The official CBS Sports 2008 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship DVD includes the commercial-free championship and semi-final game hi-lights as well as a tournament recap and special bonus features. This instant classic is a must-have for any basketball fan's collection.
